Our clear float glass, manufactured in China, is available in a thickness range of 2mm to 25mm, with common specifications including 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. As leading suppliers in the industry, we offer standard sizes of 2440mm x 3660mm, while custom sizes can be provided based on your specific requirements.

This high-quality glass boasts a light transmittance of ≥89% for the 3mm thickness, ensuring excellent visibility. The glass is colorless and transparent, although a slight green tint may be observed at the edges, attributed to its iron content.

With a density of approximately 2.5 g/cm³ and a refractive index of about 1.52, our clear float glass is designed for various applications. It has a softening temperature around 720°C and a thermal expansion coefficient ranging from 8.5 to 9.5 x 10⁻⁶/°C (20°C–300°C). The mechanical strength is impressive, with bending strength between 40-50 MPa and compressive strength ranging from 800-1000 MPa.

Our clear float glass is made primarily of SiO₂ (~72%), along with Na₂O, CaO, MgO, and trace amounts of Fe₂O₃, contributing to the characteristic green tint. The surface quality meets GB 11614-2009 standards, ensuring a smooth, flat finish free from significant waves, bubbles, or impurities.
